Councilmember Laura Pastor’s office has $25,000 in participatory budget funds available to District 4 community members and organizations. The neighborhood improvement grant funds can be used for a variety of improvements, projects or special events.

In previous years, these funds have been used for many creative and impactful ideas, such as purchasing speed humps to calm traffic, renting bounce houses for neighborhood block parties and park activation events and covering equipment costs for neighborhood movie nights.

District 4 residents who have an idea that would benefit their neighborhood are encouraged to apply for the grant by May 17. Find contact information on the D4 webpage: www.phoenix.gov/administration/mayorcouncil/district4.html.
