The City of Phoenix and Metro District consultant team invites residents to provide feedback on conceptual design illustrations representing the community-based vision for a more sustainable, walkable and safer Metro District. The survey, available at www.phoenix.gov/nweii, should take about 10-15 minutes to complete and will be open until Jan. 10.
The ideas in the survey represent more than a year of community input, technical analysis, and visioning that revealed three catalyst opportunity areas and six big ideas. The Transit-Oriented Community Plan is intended to implement more sustainable and walkable communities and is a long-term, 25-year vision for the future of this area. The planning ideas presented are preliminary visions that will help the city of Phoenix strategize public funding and guide developers towards a unified, intentional vision. The survey ideas are focused around three light rail stations: Metro Parkway, Mountain View and 25th Avenue and 19th Avenue and Dunlap
At the end of this survey, participants can provide comments on any topics that are not addressed in this survey and enter a raffle to win a Castles-n-Coasters Thrill Ride Pass.
