Area GenX and elder millennial women who grew up going to the roller rink on weekends are invited to the Flipside of Midlife Skating Party, scheduled for Friday, June 13, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Family Life Center Skating Rink, 5757 North Central Ave.
The event is hosted by Karli Newman and her Flipside of Midlife® women’s group. Participants will have the entire rink to themselves to dip, spin or even just try to stay on their wheels after so many years away from the rink – all to a soundtrack of 80s and beyond favorite songs.
Organizers said, “Events by this group are always fun, welcoming and inclusive, so join us!”
