The 1227 Taproom, located at 1227 E. Northern Ave., will host the CJ’s Hope for Tomorrow Pints & Prizes for a Cause and Home Fur Good (www.homefurgood.org) adoption event on Sunday, June 1, beginning at 1 p.m.

Residents can enjoy an afternoon with friends, partaking in food and drinks and winning cool prizes, all while raising funds for pets in need of cancer treatment and forever homes.
