The Spirits of Mexico Festival, an annual celebration of Mexico’s rich heritage, will return to Downtown Phoenix March 22-23. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Heritage Square, located at 113 N. 6th St.
This year’s event will spotlight the state of Nayarit, Mexico, known for its stunning Pacific coastline, lush jungles and vibrant Indigenous culture. The weekend will feature live music, traditional dance, art displays, cooking classes, mixology workshops and culinary delights. Guests can also explore an expansive tasting area, offering samples and insights into Mexico’s signature distilled spirits, including tequila, mezcal, sotol and bacanora.
The event’s mission is to celebrate, sustain, and unite communities through cultural events and immersive cultural experiences. The festival promotes bi-national community engagement, fosters economic development and offers meaningful cultural experiences for all attendees.
