Free Arts is a nonprofit with a vision that every child who has experienced the trauma of abuse, neglect, and/or homelessness has access to resilience-building arts programs and caring adult volunteer mentors. The organization relies on its weekly mentors, teaching artists, event volunteers, group volunteers and volunteers who provide other types of support, like office and administrative support, to make the programs possible.
Those interested in volunteering are encouraged to attend an upcoming virtual orientation session, two of which are scheduled this month: Saturday, Feb. 1, 9:30-10:30 a.m.; and Tuesday, Feb. 18, 6-7 p.m. To find additional information or register for the events, visit www.freeartsaz.org/volunteer.
