More than 400 young gymnasts are expected to compete in the 2025 “Make An Impact” Invitational, hosted by Impact Gymnastics Sept. 27–28 at Sunnyslope High School, 35 W. Dunlap Ave. in North Central Phoenix.
Open to Levels 2–5 and Xcel athletes, the two-day meet will feature competition on all AAI equipment, with 100 percent all-around and 50 percent event awards. Each participant will also receive a commemorative gift.
“Our mission with this event is to bring the gymnastics community together for something bigger than medals or scores,” said Samantha Baltierrez, co-owner of Impact Gymnastics. “Supporting Camp Patrick means helping children with Spina Bifida experience the joy, freedom, and connection of summer camp – and that aligns perfectly with our belief in building strong kids from the inside out.”
Camp Patrick is a nonprofit that provides empowering summer camp experiences for children with Spina Bifida.
“We are incredibly honored to be chosen as the nonprofit recipient; it means the world to us,” said Katie Reeve, COO of Camp Patrick. “The way the community has shown up for Camp Patrick is both humbling and inspiring. Your support fuels our mission and brings life-changing experiences to our campers. Thank you for believing in us.”
The meet registration fee is $120 through Aug. 1, or $135 after Aug. 10. A $50 team fee also applies. Registration is available through the USAG Meet Reservation. Payments can be made to Impact Gymnastics or through Square using the event QR code.
The event is directed by Samantha Baltierrez and supported by her husband and co-owner of Impact Gymnastics, Ozzie.
