The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) welcomed the month of August with the announcement of only one mainline freeway closure this weekend, Aug. 1-4. ADOT recommends planning to use alternate routes to avoid the closure.

  • Southbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) closed between Pima Road/Princess Drive and Shea Boulevard in Scottsdale from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Aug. 4) for bridge work and other improvements as part of widening project. The eastbound/southbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Scottsdale and Hayden roads also closed. Freeway
    • Detour: Consider using southbound SR 51 to eastbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway).
