While every pet deserves a warm, loving forever home to start the new year, there are many pets who are not quite ready for a family to call their own. While on the road to adoption, many pets at the Arizona Humane Society (AHS) are in need of a Foster Hero to help them recover, destress or simply spend some time away from the shelter.

This is the case for Bennie and her Jets, a family of three who came to the shelter earlier this month as strays. Now undergoing care in AHS’ Mutternity Suites, the adorably unique family is in need of temporary respite from the shelter as they continue growing big and strong each day.

Fostering is a wonderful way to help give back to pets in need while not permanently adding to your home. It is also a great way to test the waters to see if you and your family are ready to welcome a furry family member, while knowing you are still helping to save lives of the Valley’s most vulnerable pets.

Being an AHS Foster Hero is a lifesaving venture with cases that fit every family and lifestyle. By bringing in a foster pet(s), you allow AHS to continue caring for even more of the community’s sick, injured and abused pets by opening up much-needed kennel space.
