Rott n’ Grapes, located in Uptown Phoenix, announces that Valley chef Chris Newstrom has partnered with the wine and beer bar as consulting chef for the new location that, as of press time, was scheduled to open on Sept. 26 in the Roosevelt Row Historical District at 3rd Avenue and Roosevelt Street.

Newstrom also is bringing a new menu to the brands’ flagship location at 4750 N. Central Ave. Previously, Newstrom was part of the Upward Projects family, serving in the role as culinary director.

“We are really excited to have Chris come on board,” says Patty Gii, founder of Rott n’ Grapes. “We are a local wine bar that likes to have fun. Chris is a local chef that takes food seriously yet likes to have fun. It was a perfect match from the beginning.”

The menus at Rott n’ Grapes will feature gourmet appetizers, bruschetta, paninis, pizzas, salads and three unique entrees for evening dining. The menus also will include an eclectic brunch menu during the weekend, as well as a variety of desserts.

With more than 70 wines and craft beers in store, Rott n’ Grapes has one of the largest wine and beer selections by-the-glass menu in the Valley. For more information, visit rottngrapes.com.
