Despite the Coronavirus pandemic, Hospice of the Valley is still providing services to help those dealing with health issues whether in person or online.

Hospice of the Valley is continuing to care for adults and children that need hospice, palliative and dementia care. Most of its patients live in their own homes and are still receiving visits from the organization’s care teams. Telemedicine service also is available.

Hospice of the Valley social workers are delivering meals, transportation and other assistance to patients who need special help. Staff members are increasing phone calls to bereaved family members that may feel overwhelmed after losing a loved one. Volunteers are no longer making in-person visits to patients but many of them are providing music, companionship and pet therapy via telephone and Facetime.

Hospice of the Valley has a 24/7 phone line, 602-530-6900, to answer questions and offer assistance.
