Indulge in freshly baked goods at a North Central business while also helping feed people in need when you buy a gift card from Karl’s Quality Bakery.

For every $25 loaded onto a Karl’s gift card the bakery will donate a loaf of freshly baked bread to HonorHealth Desert Mission Food Bank.

Founded by Karl Boerner, a native of Germany, in 1994, the Sunnyslope bakery offers a huge variety of muffins, danishes, croissants, puff pastries, doughnuts, kronuts, coffee cakes, pies, tarts, breads, quiches, pastry towers, cookies, brownies, eclairs and other treats. You can order signature cakes in several flavors including chocolate Parisian, marble, German chocolate and “pink champagne.”

Gift cards are available to purchase from the bakery for $25, $50 and $100, not including the online activation fees. Karl’s Bakery is open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily at 111 E. Dunlap Ave., Suite 13. Customers can walk in and pre-order items. To learn more, visit www.karlsqualitybakery.com.
