Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL) teamed up with Raising Cane’s in March to offer a limited-edition Golden Birthday Plush Puppy from the fast food chicken restaurant, with net proceeds benefiting AAWL.
The promotion began March 19 and the plush will be available to purchase through Tuesday, April 29, while supplies last. Participating restaurants in North Central include 710 E. Indian School Road, 5850 N. 7th St., 4325 E. Thomas Road and 2715 W. Peoria Ave.
AAWL is the largest and oldest no-kill shelter in Arizona. A “no-kill” shelter is an animal shelter that does not kill healthy or treatable animals even when the shelter is full, reserving euthanasia for terminally ill animals or those considered dangerous to public safety.
