Valley nonprofit The Foster Alliance has officially launched its annual Holiday Toy Drive, a statewide effort to bring joy, dignity and hope to more than 11,000 children in state and tribal foster care across Arizona.

Through the drive, donors can provide brand-new toys and gifts for infants through young adults. A suggested gift-level of $125 enables The Foster Alliance to assemble a full “gift bag” of curated items for one child during the holiday season.

“Our goal is clear: to make the holidays brighter for children in foster care and to show them they are valued, seen, and loved,” said Maureen Noe, CEO of The Foster Alliance. “We rely on community generosity now more than ever to meet the scale of need across our state.”

Foster and kinship families are invited to attend the Holiday Toy Fest, a multi-day celebration in December where children and their caregivers can select gifts in a festive and dignified setting.

Donors may drop off new, unwrapped toys at designated locations; host a toy drive in their community; or shop from The Foster Alliance’s Amazon Wish Lists for direct delivery to their distribution centers.

“Our children deserve to feel immense joy during the holiday season,” said Noe, “and with community support, every child in foster care can receive a gift that lets them know they matter.”
