The Orpheus Male Chorus of Phoenix invites residents to celebrate the season with “Holidays with Orpheus,” a festive concert series filled with holiday warmth, global carols and timeless classics. Now in its 97th season, Orpheus continues its tradition of bringing communities together through song, this year joined by two exceptional guest artists: renowned organist Dr. Steven Gray and violinist Courtney Pinski.
This year’s program blends sacred works, holiday favorites and playful surprises, including “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” Irving Berlin’s Christmas medley, and the audience-favorite sing-along. And yes – the reindeer will be back on the dance floor with Greg Gilpin’s lively Holiday Tango.
In the North Central area, Camelback Bible Church will host a 3 p.m. performance on Saturday, Dec. 6. Performances also will be held Dec. 7 and 13. Tickets range from $20 to $35 (free for children 12 and under) and are available at www.orpheus.org or by calling the box office at 602-699-4556.
