Maria Karen Robles, an employee at Holiday Retirement senior living community Madison Meadows, recently received Holiday’s Touch of Excellence award for Operational Support of the Year. Robles was selected from nearly 5,000 eligible candidates for the award.
As the head housekeeper for Madison Meadows, an independent senior living community located at 7211 N. 7th St., Robles ensures residents receive timely and efficient service—everything from linen service to pouring tea.
“Karen is the eyes and ears of the community,” said Andrew Crowel, senior regional director for Holiday Retirement. “She loves her job and enjoys coming to work every day.”
Robles is very involved with the residents of Madison Meadows. In fact, one might see her “stepping” out on the dance floor and sharing her talent as a Mexican folklore dancer. She is a mother of three and not only committed to her family at home but to the family at Madison Meadows.
“One thing I love about Madison Meadows is that I get to serve the residents by providing them love and compassion,” said Robles. “This gives me great satisfaction, and I know residents appreciate it.”
