Molera Alvarez, a minority-owned government and public affairs firm, will celebrate 20 years of business in Arizona this month.

Founders Jaime A. Molera and Ruben E. Alvarez, and the Molera Alvarez team, have a long history of implementing their public affairs expertise. Founded in May 2003, the team has over a century of government affairs experience.

The firm cites many accomplishments over the past two decades, including leading the way to expand Arizona’s Medicaid population, allowing the state to draw down more than $1.2 billion in new federal funding, as well as overseeing the legislative effort to help secure funding to expand the University of Arizona’s College of Medicine in Phoenix. The firm has also served as the international trade representative for the City of Phoenix, and the City of Wichita, Kansas.
