Healthy holiday cooking is the focus of a free class set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14 at Abrazo Central Campus (formerly Phoenix Baptist Hospital), 2000 W. Bethany Home Road.

Participants will learn how to make heart-healthy dishes such as Mediterranean roasted broccoli and tomatoes, spaghetti alla carbonara, linguine with escarole and shrimp, and mini frozen baklava.

This is one of several free classes that Abrazo Community Health Network is presenting as part of its free 30-day health challenge. The Artistry of You program runs from Nov. 1 to 30 and aims to help residents take control of their health, physically and emotionally. Participants can join the program anytime during November at AbrazoHealth.com/ArtistryOfYou to receive daily emails with health challenges and health tips as well as to register for free wellness events such as the holiday cooking class. They also can share their wellness journeys on social media using #artistryofyou.

For more information about the program, visit AbrazoHealth.com/ArtistryOfYou or email ArtistryOfYou@AbrazoHealth.com.
