Connect with others to discuss religious ideas and the effect they have on you, society and culture through a podcast from the Beatitudes Church.

Tony Minear, pastor of Beatitudes Church, will deliver a weekly podcast called “Between the Lines 1-2-3” talking about one article, two headlines and three quotes from religious news and events. It provides a space where people can learn the latest religious news and be encouraged to question and ponder new and different concepts in a way that motivates you to seek others’ perspective. The podcast is 10 to 15 minutes long and is available to download and stream from a podcast platform every Thursday or on Beatitudes Radio from Transistor.

The show airs at 10:15 a.m. on the first and third Sunday of the month. It is complemented by “A Closer Look,” an online live-streamed podcast that reviews an article or topic of discussion from the previous week’s podcast at a deeper level. Minear and Janelle Tapphorn, who has a master’s degree in journalism, and Charity Gleason-Davis, podcast producer, produce that one-hour podcast. Viewers can participate in the live event via the Facebook chat function or by texting comments and questions to 480-389-4974.
