Phoenix Suns Charities announced that “Suns Charities 88,” a network of emerging and established community leaders, raised $125,000 in its inaugural season. The funds will benefit local nonprofit organizations that focus on aiding Arizona children in need.

“Hundreds of children throughout the Valley will be helped due to the commitment and collaboration of these individuals,” said Robin Milne, Phoenix Suns Charities executive director. “I am excited to see all of the great things that will be accomplished in the upcoming year.”

“Suns Charities 88,” named after Phoenix Suns Charities’ inaugural year, 1988, is a partnership with presenting donor Wells Fargo Bank and focuses on three main principles: professional development, collaborative partnerships and philanthropy. In addition to offering its members the opportunity to network and grow as professionals, the group raises funds for Phoenix Suns Charities, which has granted more than $13 million to Arizona youth and their families since 1988.
