He may look intimidating but when you meet Rocky the Boxer and see his enormous smile and his entire body wiggling with delight—it’s then that you’ll realize he’s a big softy.
The 5-year-old guy hasn’t slowed down one bit and being a puppy at heart, he’d love to start the day with a morning jog, followed by some playtime in the backyard. An evening walk would be the perfect ending to the day, because a bored dog can get into mischief. When Rocky’s tuckered out, he loves to cool off in the sprinklers and get a cool drink of water (an overabundance of drool should be expected afterward). He’s housetrained, knows a few basic tricks and would prefer a home with adults.
You can meet Rocky at the Arizona Humane Society’s Sunnyslope Campus located at 9226 N. 13th Ave. His adoption fee is $110 and includes his neuter surgery and vaccines.
