Phoenix Public Library wants your gently used NOOK e-reader!

Keep your NOOK out of the landfill and support e-reader literacy by donating your gently used 1st Edition, Simple Touch or Simple Touch Glowlight NOOK e-readers at any of the library’s 17 locations during the month of May.

“This is a great opportunity to support our library and promote reading—in all its forms,” explained Mayor Greg Stanton, who suggested the e-reader drive to the library.

Donated NOOKs will be added to the library’s collection and made available to the community for check out as part of an expansion of Project NOOK. Project NOOK makes e-readers available to library customers for a 21-day loan period.

Donated NOOKs that cannot be used will be given to Westech Recyclers, a local electronic recycling company.
