MAD Greens, a Colorado-based restaurant specializing in made-to-order salads, fresh-blended juices, paninis, wraps and soups, opened its latest Valley location at 1515 N. 7th Ave. #100, on Sept. 29. The eatery gave away salads all that day in exchange for donations to Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s Hope Fund.

Through Nov. 1, one dollar from every “F.L.W.” salad ordered will be donated directly to PCH’s Hope Fund.

The MAD Greens team already has planted deep Arizona roots, partnering with local farmers and purveyors such as Abby Lee Farms, Bella Fresh, Duncan Family Farms, Hickman Farms and Shamrock Dairy to provide the freshest menu ingredients.

MAD Greens also has teamed with Abby Lee Farms to pass out free samples at the Downtown Phoenix Public Market on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
