Juanita Saurer was honored at the Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority Special Event Luncheon, held Feb. 3 at Moon Valley Country Club. The luncheon recognized “Valentine Queens” nominated by 19 participating local chapters.

The members of the Xi Alpha Chi chapter voted to have Saurer as their 2018 Valentine Queen. Juanita lives in North Central Phoenix and is a graduate of Central High School. This year marks Saurer’s 50th anniversary as a member of Beta Sigma Phi.

Last year’s queen, Cheryl Barber, wrote, “Juanita is a calm and steady presence, someone who we can always be assured will be there if we need her.”
