Local art buff Sue Kapp has spent years on a globetrotting quest to physically view the original canvas of every known painting by the 17th Century Dutch master Johannes Vermeer.
She has put together a history of her interest in Vermeer, and the cities and countries to which she has traveled to see these master works. The SAGES on Central Seniors Group will host Kapp at the group’s monthly luncheon, 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10 at All Saints’ Episcopal Church, 6300 N Central Ave.
Members of the public are invited to dine with the group (a $5 voluntary donation is requested) beginning at noon, or just attend Kapp’s presentation at no charge.
