Construction is underway on Hospice of the Valley’s new Dementia Care & Education Center. The not-for-profit agency broke ground last month on the comprehensive, new center at 3811 N. 44th St. at a ceremony that drew nearly 200 guests.
The multipurpose campus will offer care for people at all stages of dementia and will feature an intergenerational adult and child center and an education venue to teach best practices in dementia care. There also will be a café open to the public. The campus will support healthcare providers, students, volunteers, neighbors and the community.
