Turkey Day is just around the corner, making this month an ideal time to feast your eyes and ears on a humorous play at the Herberger Theater Center.

“The Thanksgiving Play” will be performed Nov. 5-20 on The Kax Stage at the theater at 222 E. Monroe St. This fast-paced satire tells the story of good intentions merging with ridiculous assumptions. A troupe of “woke” teaching artists scrambles to put together a pageant that celebrates Thanksgiving and Native American Heritage Month.

Tickets cost $18 for general admission, $16 for seniors and $10 for students. To learn more, visit www.herbergertheater.org.
