The Merchantile, a one-stop-shop that gives hundreds of local, small business owners space and a voice to share their work with the community, is expanding to a second boutique location, this time in uptown Phoenix.

Valley residents are invited to stop by the Merchantile of Phoenix Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 8–9, for a Sidewalk Celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can shop from “tons” of local creators, artists, designers, vintage curators and more. In addition, the first 50 people in line each day will score an exclusive Merchantile of Phoenix gift bag.

The Sidewalk Celebration will be an all-out affair, equipped with live music, giveaways, meet and greets with the vendors, and a chance to pursue some of the Valley’s most unique and coveted local creations. The company also is partnering with local schools in the area, and will be collecting donations for students and teachers in need.

Located on the northeast corner of 7th Street and Missouri, the Merchantile of Phoenix stands at 5,400 square feet, making this its largest boutique location yet, and will carry some of the Merchantile’s fan-favorite vendors like Uptown Hippie, Painted Ladies, and Iconic Arizona, along with all-new artisans like Old Town Gypsie.

“We’re so excited to open our doors to the Phoenix community,” said Merchantile Market’s founder, Kimberly Pak. “Each of our vendors bring such a unique and talented perspective to the Valley that we love celebrating, and we can’t wait to share even more at our new location.”

Merchantile of Phoenix is located at 730 E Missouri Ave. For additional information, call 602-296-4417 or visit www.merchantile.co.
