A two-day festival celebrating Italian art, culture, food and music returns for its seventh year, Feb. 26-27, at Heritage Square, located at the corner of East Adams Street and 7th Street in downtown Phoenix.

Hosted by the nonprofit Italian Association of Arizona, this year’s event will begin Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. with a parade and opening ceremonies and feature live entertainment and some of the best Italian food the Valley has to offer. Live performances will include Sbandieratori del Palio di Asti (flag-wavers) from the city of Asti in Piemonte, and an art gallery with local and international Italian art. A concourse d’elegance will feature restored collector Italian automobiles and Italian motorcycles. Italian bicycle manufacturers will feature their latest hand-crafted road bikes. A concert will take place Saturday evening at 7 p.m. and guests can dance in the streets.

Tickets can be purchased online for $15 through Feb. 27; children under 12 are free. For additional information, visit www.italianfestivalaz.com.
