After 23 years as executive chef, Beau MacMillan has transitioned his role at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain to culinary advisor. Stepping into the executive chef role is former catering chef Landon Post, a fixture in the Sanctuary dining experience since 2014, while chef de cuisine Samantha Sanz has become the new face of the resort’s signature restaurant, elements.
Post is responsible for the resort’s day-to-day culinary operations in his new role as executive chef. Sanz, a two-time James Beard award nominee, continues to serve as chef de cuisine, a position she has held for more than a year, while taking on a more public profile at elements with MacMillan’s departure.
