Ballet dancers from Bender Performing Arts will bring the holiday season alive with their performance of “Happy Holidays, With Love,” Dec. 14-15 (submitted photo).
The Bender Performing Arts ballet dancers, in association with their DanceMotion Performing Company, will present “Happy Holidays, With Love,” at the Madison Center for the Arts, Dec. 14-15.
Like most families, The Tinsel family appears, in their holiday portrait, to live a happy and flawless life. However, parents Ellis and Emily, along with their three daughters, Kristen, Erica and Clara, are far from perfection. Upon taking a closer look, each reveals an obstacle he or she must overcome to become the loving family they appear to be from the outside looking in. By taking a magical trip through five classic holiday stories, each member of the family learns an important lesson that helps them to overcome their personal struggles and rediscover the happiness and love they thought they had lost forever.
Madison Center for the Arts is located at 5601 N. 16th St. Performance times are 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 14, and 2 p.m. Dec. 15. Tickets are $22, plus ticketing fee. Visit www.benderperformingarts.com/tickets.
