Five15Arts’ group exhibition, “Chill Pill,” which opened First Friday, July 4, and will be displayed through Aug. 31, features artworks by over 60 Valley artists.

The gallery walls are packed with artworks of varying styles, subjects, and media, including ceramics, photography, fiber art, oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings, and much more. All artworks are small in size, providing an overview of the artists’ skills and current work and offering a unique opportunity to add to one’s art collection.

Drawing on their individual knowledge and taste, the member artists of Five15Arts collective asked five other artists to exhibit alongside them. Unique to this show, most works are available for immediate purchase and removal by the buyer, to be replaced by an alternate piece, ensuring this show will be evolving over its duration.

The 12 exhibiting members of the Five15Arts collective are Bob Allen, Sheri Ashton, Daniel Friedman, Marlys Kubicek, Victoria Lindley, Harold Lohner, Charissa Lucille, Amy Menousek, Elissa Nowacki, Daniel Prendergast, Wendy Raisanen and Linda Schlosberg. A list of guest artists is available on the gallery website.

Five15Arts is located at 1301 NW Grand Ave. Gallery hours are Friday, 6-9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or by appointment. For additional information, visit www.five15arts.com.
