In February, tire and automotive repair franchise brand Big O Tires celebrated the opening of a new location in the Sunnyslope neighborhood. Located at 8615 N. 7th St., the shop offers a wide range of tires and diagnostic, repair and routine automotive and maintenance services for the North Central Phoenix area.
The Sunnyslope store’s opening followed a nine-month renovation of an existing auto repair shop, and was overseen by franchise owners Karl Gabbard, Desiree Elliott and Shawn Tucker. For Gabbard, it’s the latest milestone in his 30-year career as a Big O Tires franchisee. The new location is his seventh Big O Tires shop in the Phoenix metropolitan area. He now operates three Big O Tires franchises in Phoenix, with additional locations in Goodyear, Scottsdale, Sun City and Surprise.
