Paul Brown
In January, the Central Arts Alliance announced the appointment of Paul Brown as the new chief executive officer for the Phoenix Center for the Arts. With a dynamic background in public service and nonprofit leadership, the organization says that Brown brings a wealth of experience, a passion for community empowerment and a deep commitment to fostering creativity and personal expression to the position.
Brown holds a master’s degree in public administration from Savannah State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Winthrop University. A native of Charleston, South Carolina, his professional journey reflects experiences across education, government and the nonprofit sectors.
