In partnership with the City of Phoenix Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and the Injury Prevention Alliance of Phoenix, a free trauma bleeding contrail training seminar will be presented on Saturday, Nov. 22, at Sunnyslope Community Center, 802 E. Vogel Ave., between 10 and 11:30 a.m.

The training will utilize the Stop the Bleed program, which will help attendees equip themselves with critical skills to respond effectively and quickly in the case of an emergency.

The city says that over the past year, OEM has successfully trained more than 500 city of Phoenix employees and installed several trauma bleeding control stations across the city. Now, it is bringing this initiative to the broader community.
