Western Governors University (WGU held its 28th semi-annual commencement ceremony in Orlando, Fla., on Feb. 7 and celebrated the graduation of more than 6,700 graduates.

Among them were North Central residents: Jamey Strunk, who received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting; Eric Anspach, who received his MBA in Management and Strategy; Aaron Heinen, who earned his Master of Science in Educational Leadership; Cameron Ward, who received his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology; and Lisa Field, who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

The university awarded 4,071 undergraduate and 2,657 graduate degrees in business, information technology, K-12 teacher education, and healthcare professions, including nursing.
