CrossRoads United Methodist Church, 7901 N. Central Ave., hosts “Friday Night Food Trucks” 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 and Oct. 28.
Food trucks come from La Food Truck Familia, owned by Tim and Kim Cobb. Oct. 7 food trucks include: United Lunchadores, Smokin Hot, Dk Dogs, and DeMarcos, and Oct. 28 include: United Lunchadores, Saffron Jak, Flyin Hawaiian, and Mister Softee.
After getting your grub on, head on over to Sunnyslope High School as the varsity football team takes on the Ironwood Eagles on Oct. 7 and the Apollo Hawks on Oct. 28. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. at Sunnyslope High, 35 W. Dunlap Ave.
Proceeds benefit the Sunnyslope Gridiron Club and Cross Roads Preschool & Kindergarten.
