Sunnyslope-area seniors who want to make 2016 a year of living a more healthy lifestyle will find two new programs at the Sunnyslope Senior Center that will help them toward that goal.
Chair yoga takes place every Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at the center, located at 802 E. Vogel Ave. Ground your mind and body with this one-hour chair flow. Perfect for all levels, chair yoga is a great way to stretch your body and relieve tension.
Seniors also can work on their balance issues and fear of falling with “A Matter of Balance,” every Friday from 9-11 a.m. Still Standing Fall Prevention Outreach is designed to help participants prevent falls and manage the fear of falling. Advanced registration required.
