A new store and gallery is giving people a chance to unleash their inner artists and get coaching to reach their creative potential.

Shaneland Arts opened last month at 301 E. Camelback Road. Co-founders Shane R. McCall and Mike Stein designed it to be an intimate, inclusive space for everyone. The retail store offers novelty merchandise, art supplies and artisan products.

In its eclectic gallery, visitors will see art that rotates every two to three months from all different mediums and themes. Curated instructors will teach classes in drawing, painting, watercolor, mixed media, visual journaling, sculpture and other creative outlets.

Artists facing mental roadblocks or those looking to harness their creative gifts can visit the business for creativity coaching. One-on-one and group-themed workshops will be taught by McCall, a Creativity Coach who has over 30 years of creative and management leadership experience. Regardless of background, artists of all mediums will learn personalized strategies to find and express their inner talents, including writers who have trouble with the last chapter and actors dealing with stage fright.
