Faith Ecumenical Institute, a new venture in nondenominational religious studies for mid-life students, successfully concluded its first year of operation and is set to expand its course offerings for the fall semester, beginning Sept. 19.
FEI offers non-credit, college-level courses in contemporary theology; adults 18 and older are invited to enroll. Four new courses are offered, including: “Religious Art Through The Centuries,” “The Gospel of John,” “Building An Inclusive Church” and “Where Faith and Activism Intersect.”
All FEI classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 19 to Dec. 13 in the Chapel at Faith Lutheran Church, 801 E. Camelback Road. There are no grades, term papers or final exams. Tuition is $100 per semester course; parking is free onsite.
