Enjoy three concerts this month at Christ Church of the Ascension, 4150 E. Lincoln Drive. The first two are free, but monetary donations will be collected for the ICM Food & Clothing Bank.

First up is “Uplifting! Music For The Spirit” with the CCA Parish Choir, 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4. This concert celebrates all things uplifting and features local pianist Lynne Haeseler, known for her eclectic yet inviting programs that she curates at churches and art galleries around the Valley.

Then on Saturday, Feb. 13, enjoy a “Musical Melting Pot” with the Teatra String Quartet, beginning at 6 p.m. The quartet leads families on an interactive musical journey through different cultures and traditions, showing how one bit of music can be transformed around the world.

The series concludes with a concert by professional chamber choir Solis Camerata. The concert, titled “Origins,” begins at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20. There is a $20 suggested donation. The choir presents a moving program of Pre-Renaissance chants and the wide variety of music based on them. Proceeds benefit this local ensemble as they embark on a tour to represent Arizona at a National Choir Conference in California.
