Phoenix Art Museum is open again for guests with safety measures in place.

The museum at 1625 N. Central Ave. announced its reopening last month and urged visitors to purchase tickets for exploring the site ahead of time to decrease contact points. If you pay at the museum you are required to use a credit or debit card at checkout, using the touchless payment stations. Cash is not being taken now.

The number of visitors who can buy tickets each day is being limited to try to maintain social-distancing requirements. Phoenix Art Museum is decreasing its daily attendance capacity to 600 people in order to meet guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The museum provides exclusive admission to visitors ages 65 and older from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays through Fridays. It costs $20 for general admission tickets for those ages 65 and older; $23 for adults; $18 for students and $5 for youths ages 6 to 17. For more information, visit https://phxart.org.
