The city of Phoenix has canceled its workshops and job training that are ordinarily offered at its Arizona@Work-Phoenix job centers due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

City officials said in a press release they want to keep public services while doing their utmost to protect citizens, as well as customers.

The situation will be reevaluated and a decision about future workshops was expected to be announced late last month. Workshops canceled also include those that the Phoenix Business and Workforce Development Center offers.

However, Arizona@Work-Phoenix job centers were still open, as of press time, to help job seekers and training candidates. For the latest information, visit ArizonaAtWork.com/Phoenix and Phoenix.gov.
