The space occupied by Char’s Has the Blues, which closed its doors in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, reopened Feb. 4 with new ownership, a renovated interior, a rotating cocktail menu and a new name: Char’s Live.
The reincarnation of the 2,245-square-foot club brought with it not only new management but a new musical vibe as well. The spot will offer live blues music, but will add new genres to the lineup, including DJs, reggae bands and ska.
