Terrific Tony is an energetic older gent who enjoys car rides and splashing in the water. He will offer lots of love to his new forever family (photo courtesy of Arizona Humane Society).
In honor of being one of the longest residents at Arizona Humane Society (AHS), Tony the adorable nine-year-old Australian Kelpie has brought out his cutest and best smile ever (spoiler alert: all of his smiles are the best)! Tony’s journey began at the Arizona Humane Society as an injured puppy in 2015 where he was quickly adopted after being treated in the shelter’s trauma hospital. However, he was recently returned through no fault of his own when his owner could no longer care for him.
Benefits of adopting senior pups like this sweet boy include knowing their background most of the time as well as the fact that what you see is what you get with them. This sugar faced pup is housetrained, loves car rides, and enjoys splashing in the water. Like most pets, Tony is food motivated and still full of energy despite his senior status, making him a delightful companion that is sure to bring lots of love to his future forever home.
Interested adopters can meet terrific Tony (pet number 519419) at AHS’ Papago Park Campus location. Tony’s waived adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, current vaccinations, a microchip, and a follow-up wellness exam with a VCA Animal Hospital.
