If you’d like to pamper yourself while saving some money and also helping rescue animals, Mane Attraction Salon has a purr-fect solution.

The salon at 3156 E. Camelback Road will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of its Beauty to the RESCUE fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 1. Get a haircut, blow dry, makeup and other services for minimum donation amounts, which will be much less than the regular prices. In addition, 10 percent of the sales of all products sold at Mane Attraction Salon that day also will go toward animal rescues.

In addition to the salon treatments, the event also will include a DJ, booths selling boutique items, a pet psychic, a caricature artist, hydrofacials from Derma Health Skin and Laser, makeup applications, a raffle and a silent auction. There also will be animals available for adoption.

All proceeds from these services will benefit PACC911, an organization that brings together more than 100 animal welfare organizations around Arizona. PACC911’s goal is to create a powerful animal rescue community that works under a unified umbrella. It offers large outdoor adoption events, fundraising, educational outreach and medical help to reduce the costs of veterinary care.

Mane Attraction Salon has helped raise more than $360,000 for PACC991 through this annual fundraiser.
