Want to help a little furry friend that needs someone to care for them until they are old enough to be adopted?

Sign up for the Arizona Humane Society’s Bottle Baby Foster Hero program, through which you can open your home to a newborn kitten or puppy or other critter in need. It is a free program and the Humane Society provides formula, medication, toys, blankets and other items needed to care for the animal.

By signing up to be a Foster Hero, you will save an animal’s life and offer much-needed kennel space to save the life of another sick, injured or abused animal in the Valley.

To participate, visit azhumane.org/foster and complete a general online orientation. Once you fill out a foster application, you will have your foster kitten in less than 24 hours. If you need help learning how to feed your kitten, there is an optional, in-person, hands-on bottle baby feeding training available.
