On April 15, Phoenix District 5 Councilmember Betty Guardado joined the team from the Richman Group and its partners to break ground on what will be an affordable housing community for adults aged 55 and over.
Located just south of Glendale Avenue on the east side of 27th Avenue, the development will include 45 units for those 55 and over, with 11 units specifically reserved for veterans. This three-story, elevator-equipped building will feature spacious one-bedroom residences, catering to seniors with incomes ranging from 40-60% AMI (Area Median Income).
According to the Richman Group project website, residents will enjoy various amenities, including a community center, fitness room, laundry center, courtyard and walking path.
