In an effort to limit impacts on holiday season traffic, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) says that drivers will get a break from closures for freeway improvement projects in the Phoenix area this weekend, Dec. 6-9. While some construction or maintenance work with temporary lane restrictions is possible along freeways, no closures are scheduled.
